As I travelled through Kolkata bylanes, the colonial architecture, the tana rickshaws, and vivid culture inspired me to document these nostalgic marvels through best of my intentions. Kolkata is a city of contradictions, where splendor resides besides squalor, the incongruity of a city that craves to be modernised with swanky new malls and hi-rises, but then also paradoxically clings to its heritage and the culture of a slower happier time.
